As you journey upriver, you'll visit sites such as Oak Alley Plantation,
with its magnificent row of 300-year-old live oak trees, and St. Francisville,
home of many famous plantations including The Myrtles, one of the most
haunted houses in America. Other highlights of our lower Mississippi adventures
include a tour of a Louisiana swamp, two big housesGreenwood
Plantation and Angola Prison; charming Natchez, with more than
200 antebellum structures; and the historic Civil War battlefields of Vicksburg.
Your 7-night vacation includes your
choice of a 3- or 4-night riverboat cruise plus a 3- or 4-night New Orleans Experience,
including accommodations at a selected New Orleans hotel; full breakfast daily;
two meals; tickets to your choice of two selected attractions (with the 3-night
hotel stay) or four selected attractions (with the 4-night hotel stay).

3-NIGHT RIVER VACATIONS stop
at Oak Alley Plantation (Vacherie) and Baton
Rouge. For an additional price, you can tour Oak
Alley Plantation, Laura: A Creole Plantation, or
a Cajun swamp. The American Queen
departs New Orleans at 7:30 PM.
4-NIGHT RIVER VACATIONS
feature a Steamboatin’ day, followed by stops in
historic Natchez and Baton Rouge. From Natchez,
for an additional price, you can take the Music,
Mistresses & Marriage Tour, the Natchez homes
tour, or you can take a tour of the haunting
battlefields of Vicksburg. (Tours of St.
Francisville may be substituted in certain
seasons.) The American Queen departs
New Orleans at 4:00 PM, except dates noted by an
asterisk (*), which depart at
7:30PM.
